PRODUCT DESCRIPTION1935 Peace Dollar Graded at MS65 by PCGS in a TrueView Holder. COMMENTSPCGS MS65 Graded 1935 Peace Dollar with champagne-olive tones and minimal surface abrasions presents a visually striking and highly collectible coin, especially with the added appeal of slightly more vibrant peripheral toning. The coin features a champagne-olive tone, giving it a soft, golden-yellow base hue with hints of olive, which adds depth and richness to the overall appearance. The toning is more concentrated near the edges, where the vibrant peripheral toning enhances the coin’s beauty. This effect creates a gradient, where the outer rim of the coin has stronger, more vivid colors, transitioning smoothly to the softer champagne-olive-white centers. This toning gives the coin a unique character, making it a one-of-a-kind piece within its grade. As a PCGS MS65, this coin is in excellent mint-state condition, with minimal surface abrasions. Any tiny imperfections would be minor and scarcely visible without magnification. The overall surfaces are clean, and the coin retains its original cartwheel mint luster, adding to its appeal as a high-grade collectible. While we’d love to send all our CAC ready coins in, we can’t do that for all and love to offer that opportunity to our customers. So, something to consider there but altogether, this is a very lovely specimen for any collection that meets many collector needs! Obverse: Lady Liberty’s serene profile is well-struck and crisp, with her flowing hair, crown of radiant rays, and facial features showing clear, sharp detail. The peripheral toning is more vibrant along the outer rim, highlighting “LIBERTY” and other inscriptions, while the champagne-olive hues dominate the center, giving Liberty a soft, warm appearance. The coin’s luster has a satiny sheen, glowing softly under light, while any abrasions or contact marks are minimal and barely noticeable, maintaining a clean, high-grade appearance. Reverse: The reverse showcases the majestic bald eagle perched on a rock, clutching an olive branch. The eagle’s feathers are sharp and well-detailed, with the champagne-olive tones accentuating the details in the rock and the olive branch. The stronger peripheral toning around the edges frames the design beautifully, making the outer inscriptions like “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA” and “ONE DOLLAR” stand out with a subtle vibrance.
