Our Generation 4 specific guide rods have an enlarged base similar to that of the stock OEM guide rods which allows for the single spring assembly to sit at a more parallel position to the barrel for better performance. The NDZ Generation 4 Stainless Steel Guide Rod Assemblies are designed specifically for Generation 4 pistols and allow a user not only to have a guide rod that will be more durable but also allows for different spring weights to be purchased or changed which means the ability to precisely tune the pistol for optimal performance. NDZ Performance stainless steel guide rods provide a decisive advantage for all Glock owners. Special features include a rigid stainless steel body that improves lock up by completely removing “guide rod flex”. The hex screw removable tip allows the user to choose various spring weights that will calibrate the ammunition to his gun. Used by Law Enforcement and competitive shooters worldwide, will not chip or crack like the factory plastic guide rods are prone to do. Will not damage or wear your polymer frame and guaranteed to provide a lifetime of reliable service. We recommend the use of Blue Loctite on the hex screw threads. This will provide a firm hold and still allow easy removal when necessary. ISMI premium springs are manufactured exclusively with certified aerospace specification alloys; chrome silicon. The springs are heat treated, shot peened and stress relieved after winding to enhance performance and durability. ISMI sets the standard for OEM, aftermarket recoil spring replacement.
