A breakthrough in Militaria Helmet Stand Design! The New (APRIL 2024) “No Contact” suspension Helmet Stand for German WWI/WWII Helmets WWI – PickelHaubes, M16-M18* (Separate listing)WWII – M35, M40 & M42 Stahlhelms. The New “No Contact”, Model NC-III uses the OWC-III or OWC-III-ACH helmet stand as the main stand, We designed 3 additional arms that extend outward and suspend your helmet roughly 2″ higher and thus avoid contact with the liner. Variations of this stand can also be used with German WWI Pickelhaubes as well as Officers Hats or “Crushers.” See my other items.HOW DOES IT WORK? – The 2 side arm extensions are moveable in a horizontal, circular motion and can be positioned on the sides, or rear sections of the helmet. The front, or brim extension, is also moveable and comes in 2 different sizes. See the pictures for some examples. The helmet is supported by these 3 arm extensions. The arm extensions are press fit onto the 3 polypipe supports and are captured when the 5″ RIng” is secured by press fit to the wood dowels. EXTRA BONUS! The NC -III still works as a full contact stand by just folding the arm extensions in towards the center. But your Helmet will sit 2″ shorter than it did in the “No Contact” configuration. Please see the detail notes in jpg. format that are included with the pictures. I also included the directions. – COMING SOON! – NC extension Kit. For those who already own an OWC-III helmet stand and want just the arm extensions to convert to an NC “No Contact” Stand. STANDARD STUFF : Ø Assembly is required – 3 – 5 min. to assemble. No tools are required Ø Parts are press fit. Wood glue is not required but can be used. Glue is not included. These are handmade and therefore the final product will have variations in color or wood grain pattern and warpage which we are not responsible for. All products are pre-assembled for fit and inspected for best quality appearance before shipping to you, the customer. Any Helmets, medals, nameplates, or items other than the stands are not included. This stand fits most military helmets (A disclaimer. Haven’t found any it doesn’t fit!).
