I make perfect fit gaskets for Under the Spouts of Chilton-Sears Craftsman w/a Modified Spout Base-Blitz Hard Black Modified Spout Base-Eagle-Gott Rubbermaid & WEDCO Plastic Gas Cans all of which Have Loose Fit Gaskets that REQUIRE My Gasket Install Instructions for a perfect fit. My gaskets FALL out of the plastic collars of all of the Gas Cans mentioned in this paragraph when removed from the Bung/Neck on the can. “”I DO NOT Make gaskets for the aforementioned gas cans that permits the gasket to Stay in the Collar Permanently!!””If you want a gasket to stay in the Collar Permanently and Not Fall Out of the Collar, you will have to buy your gasket somewhere else because THAT GASKET CANNOT BE MANUFACTURED!!ALL Plastic Collars have a Never-ending thread Which PREVENTS a Snap Fit or Compression Fit Gasket from staying in place under the Collar. All never-ending Collars Allow gaskets to slide into the thread When You Just Stick the gasket in the Collar and Slap the collar on the plastic Gas/Fuel Can.If you want a FIX for your Spout Base Leaking Problem: Buy my SPOUT Base Gaskets and USE my Perfect Fit Gasket Install Instructions to make your Spout Base Leaking problems go away unless your spout base or bung is damaged or cracked,If your can continues to leak after the gasket installation, you will be required to send photos of your plastic fuel can including close up pics of the bung top, collar, spout body, spout base and a picture pf the 1st step in seating the gasket to be certain you are complying with my written gasket install instructions as I will need to review the photos to ascertain your problem. I made this 1 5/8″ outside diameter gasket for one of my customer’s Blitz gas cans and tested the gasket for efficiency under duress of a Blitz gas can containing gasoline, heat in excess of 90 degrees Farenheit ambient air temperature and pressure for 36 hours over 2 days.
