I’ve developed a system that takes your drag racing competitions to the next level. This system is designed to acoomodate over an AFX or AW slot car dragstrip, and accurately measure reaction and race times in two lanes, ensuring fair and thrilling results. Take a look: Key Features:False Start Detection: This system detects any false starts and automatically stops the race, lighting up a red light to the early starter, a green light to the opponent (instant winner), and displaying an alert on the panels.Time Measurement: With high-precision light sensors, it measures reaction times from the moment the green light lights up until the cars leave the starting line, and the elapsed times until vehicles cross the finish line with milliseconds precision.Realistic Light Sequence: Start each race with a .400 Pro sequence of yellow and green lights.Bracket Setting: Easily adjust your vehicle brackets using dedicated buttons for each lane.Digital Displays: Each lane features two 4 digit 7 segment LED displays showing reaction and elapsed times in real-time, ensuring clear and precise visibility.Compatible with HO scales.Wired LDR sensors for start and finish lines: Start line cables are 1 meter (3ft) long, and Finish line cables are 8 meters (26ft) long. I can customize this lenghts in case you need it.How It Works: After the system starts you will begin setting the bracket: Use the buttons to adjust the bracket times, they will be shown on the displays (you’ll have a limited time for this).Preparation: Place the vehicles in their respective lane positions. The sensors will detect when both cars are on Stage.Race Start: 5 seconds after both cars are on stage, a sequence of yellow LED lights will start the countdown. When the green LED lights up, it’s time to go!Time Measurement: The sensors record reaction from the moment the cars leave the starting line sensors, and elapsed race times, displaying the results on the panels.Winner Detection: Upon crossing the finish line, the system automatically determines the winner and shows the final result.New feature: 2 minutes after a race is finished, the system will restart automatically.With this system, you can guarantee a fair, exciting, and fully automated racing experience. Ideal for racing events, competitions among friends, or just testing your drag racing skills. The case is a fully customizable body made of laser cut PMMA and assembled with care by myself. If you need customization, please send me a note when making the purchase. By default it will be shipped as pictured, in black body color.
