This listing is for an extremely rare : CHUCA an ORIGINAL VINTAGE Homies figurine that is in MINT CONDITION in the original Vending Machine Capsule from 1998 – 2008 encased in a plastic bag inside the capsule. *See pictures Some information about Homies for collectors and fans alike – – – Homies were created and designed by Dave Gonzales and were first introduced to the public through Grocery Store Vending Machines in 1998 and sold like other toys in that era through direct marketing point of purchase in neighborhoods and stores throughout the USA. This explains the use of the capsules as required for selling and stocking of the toys / figurines in vending machines as this is how they are dispensed when purchased. Needless to say the capsule were quickly discarded once opened as well as the interior plastic bag. To find an Original Homie Figurine in the original capsule with the inside plastic bag UNOPENED is EXTREMELY RARE !! The Homies were an immediate hit sensation everywhere and began selling out immediately across the country. As demand grew a new way to sell the popular figures was needed. This led to Dave Gonzales abandoning the original concept of selling through vending machines only as demand continued to skyrocket for the toys so he went to larger scale production of blister packs on cardboard cards which could be sold in Mass Merchant stores much easier and which is typically what you find on eBay and other collectible sites and stores. The ORIGINAL HOMIES WERE SOLD IN VENDING MACHINES ONLY and are EXTREMELY RARE to find in UNOPENED MINT CONDITION. This listing is from the original production run and should be considered extremely rare !! Each Figurine is priced separately to correspond to collector perceived value and demand.
