eBay New Old Stock found in warehouse. 1 set of vintage classic Raleigh chainwheel & crank with 46 teeth matching with 1 vintage Sturmey-Archer Bicycle Freewheel 18 Teeth 1/2″ x 1/8″. Both crank arms are stamped with Raleigh logo. Great for Raleigh or any other vintage bike restoration or Raleigh accessories collection. Overall in great condition, but do expect some minor nicks and rusts on the shiny chrome due to decades of storage. Refer the photos attached as they speak thousand words of its condition. Offer 1 pair of cotter pins free of charge. As for the freewheel, stamped Made in England, these are leftover freewheels for vintage Raleigh bikes during 70’s and 80’s era. Please take note these freewheels are found without plastic wrapped in a bin mixed, so do expect them to be in minor corrosion & tarnish spots due to decades of storage although they are declared new old stock freewheels. This freewheel is great matching for your vintage Raleigh bike with single speed cog. Apply some grease inside the inner bearings to enhance its spinning and prolong life span. Just done basic clean up before taking photos, please refer photos as they speak thousand words it’s vintage condition. The sprocket lock ring can be opened, and one can apply new grease if the freewheel is not spinning smoothly. But please take extra careful when you open up the lock ring as you do not want to mess up the ratchet, pawl and ball bearings arrangement. Please take note i would not open up the lock ring to apply grease as i prefer to stay everything intake as original. I take no chance for buyer to accuse me of changing the components or exchanging imitation as i believe my buyers prefer everything as genuine. Photos taken to convince buyer there is no defected freewheels, just a matter one knows how to open the lock ring and apply the rightful amount of grease for smooth spinning. Again i wish to emphasize if you can accept vintage condition, you may consider this, otherwise, if you are looking for perfection, this is not for you.
