This lot consists of all three of Peter Telep’s DESCENT paperback novels, published in 1999 to accompany the Interplay video game. These books are in overall solid condition but they do show some signs of reading, wear, storage, handling, or age. The third book has much more discoloration or staining than the other two books; it feels older and looks more aged than the other two books, and it’s much less attractive. Please see the photos and read the below written descriptions for a full sense of the condition of each book. DESCENT by Peter Telep1st printing, 1999. Spine is smooth with no creases. Binding is nice and tight. Spine has just slight wear to front edge. Front cover has only light corner or edge wear. Back cover has denting of bottom left corner and light edge wear. Interiors of covers only slightly yellowed from age. Pages edges lightly yellowed from age. No writing, labels, stickers, stamps, or markings inside or on the outside of this book. A really nice, tight, minimally handled copy of this paperback. DESCENT: EQUINOX by Peter Telep1st printing, 1999. Rougher and older-feeling than the other paperbacks in this lot, with more visible discoloration or staining from age—see photos. Spine has light creasing and cratering from previous reading. Binding is good and solid, but not tight as a new book would be. Spine has wear to bottom corners. Front cover has some corner denting/wear and a bit of edge wear. Front cover also has some discoloration along left (spine) edge and some surface discoloration or minor staining of surface near spine edge. Back cover has corner wear and significant edge wear, especially along bottom edge and right (spine) edge. Interiors of covers unevenly and unattractively browned/discolored from age. Page edges discolored from age. Exterior page edges show spotty discoloration. No writing, labels, stickers, stamps, or markings inside or on the outside of this book. No weird smells. This book really shows its age and is kind of unattractive and old-looking, but it’s still solid and readable. * * * * * I do NOT use stock photos.
