eBay EXCELLENT SEIKO VINTAGE PROFESSIONAL 7C43-6011 JDM 7 JEWELS QUARTZ DIVER (NEW 7C43-6010 WITH UPGRADED LUME) *It was purchased but has been relisted at the buyer’s request. The item has never been shipped and is securely stored. Item description It’s a SEIKO quartz diver watch, professional 200M 7C43-6011 7Jewels . It’s in excellent used condition. It’s difficult to find this valuable watch in such a excellent condition. Highly recommended for SEIKO collectors! This model is a part of evolution of the best-selling automatic diver’s watch with more reliable quartz movement. The original model started in 1978 with the 6458-6000 equipped with the 6458 movement, followed by the 6458-6020, and in 1985 the 7C43-6010 with a new type of movement was launched as the final model. And this exact model 7C43-6011 was created as a late version of 7C43-6010 with upgraded lume. Unlike earlier models, 7C43-6011 is equipped with SEIKO’s proprietary Lumibrite which is far superior than those substances used for earlier ones. It is said that Seiko, by using Lumibrite for the first time with this model, concluded a long journey of exploring possibilities and limits that began with 6458-6000, and has now established the foundation for the reliable diver’s watch that professionals love today. So I’m sure that you’ll be surprised how bright and long lasting the lume is even after several decades. The small, high-performance SEIKO 7C43 caliber is a quartz movement with excellent antimagnetic performance, as well as 7 Jewels, a highly reliable movement with high output torque capable of carrying thick, heavy hands. It features a date/day fast-forward function and a second hand stop function, making it highly practical. The crown mounted at the 4 o’clock position, which is a traditional feature of the Seiko Diver series, and the screw down crown is a twin-side shield structure. The case is a standard two-piece case (with a back cover), and the fixing structure of the glass is the same strong and reliable glass screw-in ring fixing structure which is the same as the 600m diver models. According to the Japanese watch forum, this model was manufactured and sold for professional divers such as the Special Forces of the Japanese Self-Defense Forces and the Coast Guard at the time of its release, so it was very rarely sold or distributed to the general public. The dial design is limited to the Japanese domestic model, with only “SEIKO” and “PROFESSIONAL 200M” written on the dial (the international version has “SEIKO QUARTZ”, and “SQ DIVER’s 200M” instead), giving the watch a simpler and more sophisticated look. The day of the week is switchable between Japanese and English. Unlike the larger 7C43-7010 with the same movement, this one has applied indexes on the dial, a domed crystal and an inward sloping bezel, making the glass and bezel scratch proof and more premium look. Combined with its modest case size, this model can be worn classily regardless of the wrist size. I took photos under powerful direct light and from certain angles to make sure all the scratches are noticeable as possible. Please note that it rotates bidirectionally and might feel stiff because it uses a metallic click ball with spring instead of normal bezel spring ring. It is original and as intended. It aligns well with indices on the dial. ●Crown: The thread is intact(Check photo). It screws and locks flawlessly. Setting of the calendar(Day/ Date) and time works smoothly and flawlessly.
